I was born in Anaheim, California on Sept. 25, 1944, and lived in Orange County until I graduated from Cal State Fullerton. However, a major change was underway and it soon became evident that while my future was pointed in a southerly direction, I wasn’t destined to live in the Southland. As a result of my family’s participation in an AFS student exchange program in 1963, I was invited to visit Argentina for several months, and during my stay I met Dora Vaccaro of Buenos Aires while studying at National Fine Arts School “Ernesto de la Cárcova” in 1964/5. In 1967 we were married and the next year we moved permanently back down to Buenos Aires. Forty years later we have built a family that now includes two granddaughters.
